The only information they have on it is the hype page for it. X1 and later versions of the EVGA software is no longer based on the Afterburner code. How do I use this feature of Precision X OC? (I believe this question holds for all EVGA Pascal cards, not just the 1060.)īTW, EVGA's own documentation of Precision X OC is basically nonexistent. I let the looping Furmark tests run for a good 15 minutes before I got spooked over my card being held at over 110%+ TDP for so long and killed the test. This Furmark tests repeats many, many times, with no onscreen indication of how many tests need to be run, or whether the testing will stop on its own when enough data is collected. This opens up a windowed instance of Furmark, which seems to run for 10 seconds or so and then re-initialize.
Looks like I can page over to the voltage curve control panel, set my curve to "manual," and then hit the "run" button, which (according to the help text) automatically finds the best VF curve for any particular Pascal card. I just got an EVGA 1060 SC and I'm trying to figure out Precision X OC's automatic voltage tuning feature.
